Serving and Helping different local churches

Palmas Community Church is committed to helping local churches in Puerto Rico.

Taller Biblico Gracia & Gozo church located in Yabucoa is a local church with Pastors Harry Delgado and Liz Lopez that started with the children of the community. Since we met them we made the decision to unite and support them spiritually and financially. PCC has been able to provide food, school and emergency supplies and gifts to the Yabucoa community thanks to this beautiful unit.

For more than 75 years, Young Life has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to kids. Young Life thinks the world of kids. We believe that they deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders in Puerto Rico are investing time with teenagers to build lasting friendships and help them consider the direction of their lives. Young Life gives kids a safe place to explore the Christian faith, and strives to model the love of Jesus Christ through the lives of their leaders.

Young Life Puerto Rico is also all about fun! From Club and Camp to Campaigners and service projects, teenagers will have a blast laughing, trying new things and being with their friends!

Young Life Puerto Rico works with students in Private and Public schools across the island.  Young Life even has a ministry geared specifically for teen aged mothers and pregnant teens called, Young Lives.

CREE WOMEN'S CARE

TN’s first ministry project is Puerto Rico’s first pregnancy resource center, Cree Women’s Care. “Cree” is the Spanish word for “Believe”. In Mark 5:23 Jesus tells the leader of a synagogue whose daughter was dying:

“Do not be afraid, just BELIEVE!”

“Being afraid” is one of the many negative feelings a woman can feel when facing an unplanned pregnancy. This fear and the lack of support and education can lead a woman to make the devastating decision of having an abortion. Love the Nations is committed to upholding the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death.

We have a deep compassion for women facing unplanned pregnancies. Our hope is to see women affected by the debilitating effects of a past abortion healed and forgiven, and a desire to see these women and their families come to know Christ.

Why Puerto Rico?
The need is severe. Currently, there are 7 Abortion Clinics performing over 17,000 abortions per year in Puerto Rico.
